(More customer reviews)I bought this, hoping to be the solution of the Easy Mount Port against a windshield that's highly angular and to put the unit within actual easy reach.
It does that. But there's also a peculiar way you must use this product with the new VIA line, and yes, TOMTOM has not seen fit to inform their users of this little peculiarity, nor provide an alternative mount.You have to take apart one of the plates with the cut out V (it doesn't matter which one, and put the ball socket into the now empty hole on the back of the GPS (you removed the Easy Port mount in step 1, leaving this little hole).
But if you're travelling on a rough road, at any kind of speed, the vibration of the unit makes it nearly impossible to view the unit. I have to put one hand on it to read upcoming directions.
That won't work well.
AVOID.
